Description

Nampula Agricultural Vocational and Technical College is a general college of higher learning directly under the governance of the Ministry of Education and Human Development of Mozambique. It is located in Nampula, the third largest city in Mozambique. This school was built in December 2019 and put into use in June 2022. This school is a national key base for cultivation and training of agricultural professionals approved by the Ministry of Education and Human Development of Mozambique and an agricultural development and education demonstration college in Nampula Province.

The college covers a land area of 240,000 m² (360 mu), including a building area of 21,000 m² and an affiliated experimental arm of 24,000 m². The construction cost is RMB 83.58 million. The college is equipped with intact facilities, such as canteens, stores, gymnasium, laundry room, clinics, laboratories, libraries, electronic reading rooms, classrooms, study rooms, generator rooms and maintenance workshops as well as 60 student dormitories, 6 faculty dormitory buildings and 6 guest rooms for living and study of more than 400 students and teachers.
